Sushant Singh Rajput case: Rhea Chakraborty to get Mumbai Police protection on CBI’s request | Hindi Movie News


Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 at his Bandra residence. Since then, a lot of conspiracy theories have been doing the rounds surrounding his untimely death. Post his demise, the family of the late actor blamed Rhea Chakraborty and her family for his death.

Sushant’s father KK Singh had filed an FIR against Rhea and her family in Bihar for abetment to suicide. According to the latest reports, Rhea, who requested for police protection recently in her Instagram post, has been provided protection by the Mumbai Police.

Reports suggest that the protection has been given on the request of the Central Bureau of Investigation. The CBI team is investigating Sushant’s death case. Reports say that the police officials will provide her protection every time she steps out to commute from her residence to DRDO guesthouse for interrogation.

Earlier, she had shared a video of her father who was surrounded by the media near their apartment. In a long post, she wrote, “This is inside my building compound , The man in this video is my father Indrajit chakraborty ( retd . army officer ) We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED , CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate . There is a threat to my life and my family’s life . We have informed the local police station and even gone there , no help provided . We have informed the investigation authorities to help us get to them , no help arrived . How is this family going to live ? We are only asking for assistance , to cooperate with the various agencies that have asked us . I request @mumbaipolice to please provide protection so that we can cooperate with these investigation agencies . #safetyformyfamily In covid times , these basic law and order restrictions need to be provided”
